Holmsey visits Yorkshire!

Penistone is a thriving fair trade market town with a population of 10,000 in sth Yorkshire in the foothills of the Penines. It is the highest market town in England. It is predominantly rural with a viaduct, dry stone walls, small hamlets and farms being synonymous with the area.

The church of St john the Baptist is grade one listed and over 1000 years old. For the last 150 yrs penistone has been host to the largest one day agricultural show in the north of England.

Holmsey also took time out on his travels to make some new furry friends and Magic and Mischief welcomed him to their bunny mansion and he played ball with Mozzy and Moomoo.
We loved having him come to stay and hope he'll come again soon, and maybe bring Fergus
